National Fitness Day 2022 will take place on Wednesday 21st September and is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping us raise awareness of its importance in assisting us lead healthier lifestyles through being physical active.
Fitness Unites Us – We believe physical activity has the ability to bring people together and to positively impact on all of our physical, mental and social wellbeing. Therefore during the campaign we will celebrate how a huge range of activities can be enjoyed by participants of all ages and backgrounds.
Previously we have seen ‘plank offs’, yoga and pilates classes, treadmill challenges, high-street HIIT classes, dance-offs, mass walks, virtual workouts and we look forward to seeing many more.
#FitnessDay aims to celebrate what fitness means to people, promoting that keeping physically active means something different to us all. We want to make #FitnessDay the biggest movement in breaking down the barriers that stop people being active, showing that fitness is for everyone!
