Promoting well-being after a difficult period or event - The Recovery Approach
Durham Trinity are focused on the Recovery Curriculum. The ‘Swan’ Framework and the Recovery curriculum draw from trauma informed approaches and nurture practice and suggests a number of key principles that can be applied when thinking about how to support all pupils and staff upon their return to school/setting. All staff have accessed training prior to pupils returning to school.
