5 Ways to Wellbeing

Mindkit offers free, interactive Wellbeing and Resilience Sessions to groups of young people, aged 14 to 25, in schools, colleges, universities, youth centres and a range of community organisations.

I came across them when exploring wellbeing in schools and found a really neat resource for young people and staff to help implement the 5 Ways to Wellbeing. If you haven’t come across this concept before scientific studies have shown us that if we do the following five things listed below, happiness will increase.

  1. Connect
  2. Be Active
  3. Keep learning
  4. Help others
  5. Taking notice

We can all make active and deliberate choices about changing the state in which we find ourselves. We just need to begin. They have shared some top tactics for implementing these five things in your life, right now.

The nice thing is they have broken this down for when you have 1 minute, 1 hour or longer to spare and these would be useful as part of your recovery curriculum!
